Three ways to stitch with us
1. Buy a Catholic pattern — instant PDF download, designed and test-stitched in our home before it ever lands in yours.
2. Browse the portfolio — a gallery of finished pieces I have made over the years.
3. Request a custom doll — Mary, Joseph, an altar server, a priest, a favorite saint. Made by hand, for your family.

This pattern is inspired and made with my book in mind. However it works for any male server wearing a cassock and surplice.
From the Studio
A peek at what's been made in the Joyful Knots studio over the years — dolls, gifts, and the occasional surprise. None of these are for sale (each one's already gone home with someone), but they show what's possible when we work together on a custom piece. Some of these patterns are not my own. They were requested by someone and I bought a pattern from someone else to make. When making someone else’s patterns I will do my best to credit the designer.
Fiber art rooted in faith
I’m Christina, and my grandmother put a crochet hook in my hands when I was a little girl. For a long time it sat quietly in the background of my life — until a road trip when I was feeling restless and my hands needed something to do. I picked it back up, and I never really put it down again. Crocheting became a way to keep busy, a way to de-stress, and — I discovered — a surprisingly beautiful way to pray. Something meditative happens when your hands are working and your mind is free. I started with dishcloths. Then stuffed animals that made children light up. And then, one day, a stuffed saint — and everything clicked. Joyful Knots is where fiber art meets faith. Every doll, every pattern, every piece is made with intention and with prayer. Whether it’s a Jesus or Mary doll for a nursery, a crocheted saint for a child learning their patron, or a pattern you want to make yourself — it’s all made to bring a little more joy home. I’m a Catholic wife and mother to six children (and a seventh on the way!), and I make every piece by hand. Custom orders are welcome.
